QA Coach


As a QA coach you’re responsible for outlining and implementing a pragmatic QA approach with an emphasis on both shift left as well as shift-right processes.

You’re responsible for determining the roadmap and planning all QA-related activities. You develop a stakeholder analysis and define change management approaches to counter opposition on the QA approach. In addition, you will present progress of the different QA-related activities and processes to management.

You will assess the existing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process initiatives. You’ll advise them about possible optimisation and guide clients in their SDLC transformations.

Through your longstanding QA experience, you’re considered an expert in QA-related matters and are able to coach and train team members.


  • Incorporating quality is not a job for you, but a habit .
  • The software development lifecycle holds no secrets for you.
  • You feel comfortable in different QA-methodologies and frameworks (Waterfall/V-model and/or Agile, BDD, DevOps, SaFe, …).
  • You’re able to give trainings on QA and QC techniques.
  • You understand what the different roles within the SDLC do and depending on the need, you are prepared to take on any one of them (Requirement engineering, Analyse, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Test Co, Test Manager, Agile coach, …).
  • You have a proven track record in optimising and establishing quality processes.
  • You keep an eye on market trends.
  • You were born to be a coach and motivator.
  • You’re a top-notch communicator, with an appropriate level of diplomacy. You also have a sound dose of assertiveness.
  • You have a healthy interest in the following topics
    • Continuous integration/Continuous delivery (E.g. Jenkins)
    • Containers, Docker, Kubernetes
    • Cloud services (E.g. AWS, Azure)
