Along with your team, as a functional QA analyst, you are responsible for the quality approach and analysing user needs. You’ll be the bridge between on one side, the technical team and on the other side, the users.
Both software testing (quality control) and the monitoring/optimising of the quality process throughout the complete software lifecycle (quality assurance) will be part of your job description. In doing so, a focus is put on the shift-left as well as the shift-right principles.
Furthermore, it is crucial that you’re not only able to build a fast understanding of the customer needs, but also think beyond them. You should also be able to identify and map these needs and help define acceptance criteria.
While creating these deliverables keep in mind other team members, so they can also make use of these deliverables.
